​Quarter, Half and Whole Cows


We also offer our beef in 1/4, 1/2 and whole cows.   These shares can be purchased in either the grass fed/grain finished or grass fed/grass finished.  Typically these need to be pre-ordered.  Occasionally, we may have a 1/4 on hand.  Below is the pricing. Please call or email for questions or to place an order.
Pricing includes processing, packaging, and labeling.

Grass Fed/Grass Finished 

            Quarter - $6.90/lb (based on the hanging wt)
           **Half - $6.85/lb (based on the hanging wt)
            **Whole - $6.65/lb (based on the hanging wt)
                                    
Grass Fed/Grain Finished
             Quarter - $6.64/lb (based on hanging wt)
             **Half - $6.59/lb (based on the hanging wt)
             **Whole - $6.39/lb (based on the hanging wt)

**Note: If you select any of the following cuts: boneless chuck roasts, flat iron steaks, stir fry, and/or kabobs, there will be an additional $0.40/lb (on the hanging weight) added to the price/lb listed above on half and whole cows.

The average hanging weight of a 1/4 cow is between 175 - 225 lbs, while average finished weight (or pounds you take home) is between 90 to 125 lbs.

An example of the cuts included in a 1/4 cow is as follows (quantities of each cut depend on the size of the cow):  ground beef (usually between 35 to 50 lbs), flank steak, short ribs, stew meat, soup bones, brisket, bone-in chuck roast, ribeye steaks, filet steaks, boneless sirloin steaks, new york strip steaks, eye round roast, london broil, bottom round roast, sirloin tip roast, tri-tip roast, sirloin tip steak.
